The Problem
Before becoming parents, the phone, wallet, and keys were the most important items to remember to take. The most important thing to remember now is a list of dozens of items - all of which seem critical at first. How organized a parent is and how full his bag is with everything he might need greatly impacts his sense of security

Research Process
I accompanied many parents during the project. Some parents have more than one child, while others are first-time parents. There is a difference between the approaches of the two types of parents regarding their feelings of pressure and self-confidence. However, what they all have in common is the amount of equipment they take in the first year after the child is born.
The conclusions so far:
In the first three years of a child's life, most parents change two or three bags.
As a child gets older, many things change
after the first year, parents feel less stressed

By observing the situation, I was able to identify problems in the area of carrying equipment when leaving the house with a small child, and from this I made a map of the problems I identified, drawing conclusions for further development.

The purpose of the Dumbo Bag is to convey to the parent that it is a trustworthy bag that has everything needed without showing effort. In designing the bag, I wanted to provide parents with an alternative to the familiar diaper bags available on the market. It is all reflected in the choice of materials, colors, details, and their combination.
The solution - Final Design
In a Dumbo Bag, the volume of the bag is reduced as the child grows, and the amount of equipment is reduced as well. The bag was designed for parents who want a bag they will be able to use for a long time and that will adapt to their changing needs as their lives change.
Features
The main feature is that the bag's volume is reduced. Close the zippers of the side pockets to change the volume after the first year when the amount of equipment decreases, or if you are going on a short trip and don't need to carry much.
Expanding the bag back is simple and easy, such as when another child joins the family or when an older child needs a place in the bag because they're going on a long trip.
Mesh compartments at the bottom of the bag are used to store "dirty" items, such as laundry clothes accumulated over time or sandals when the child is older. By shrinking the net with a string and locking it with a stopper, this compartment can be opened and closed.
The detachable pouch also meets a need I identified. In this compartment, parents keep their wallets and valuables. With magnets, the pouch is attached to the bag's central opening.
The purpose of this cell is to make access easy and quick while preventing thieves from gaining access.
Additionally, it can be detached from the bag and worn separately on the body.
With the pouch, the parent can carry his valuable equipment and play with his child without worrying.
A bag intended for parents must be able to connect to and disconnect from the stroller, so I used this feature wisely. A velcro strap attached to the handle allows the handle to easily be turned into a stroller connector.
The shoulder straps are attached to the Fidlock buckles that secure the pouch straps to the bag.
The pouch straps are attached to the bag with clips at the bottom of the straps.
There is a reflective stitch on the side pockets and pouch to allow movement even at night or in dark environments.
My main concern was the usability of this bag over time for the user.
Consequently, the choice of materials is synthetic materials in dense weaves.
Moreover, the zippers and fabrics are water-resistant.
26 liters is the volume of the bag in the wide position
Its reduced volume is 16 liters.
It is designed in the language of outdoor products. Just like a backpack for a traveler, it's a functional bag for parents.
Today, parents of all genders and family styles take care of their children in the same way, so the bag appeals to everyone.
